Mobile networks

Three mobile networks (MTS, MegaFon and Beeline) are available in St.Petersburg, all of them have roaming partners in nearly all countries. Usually all European companies provide automatic roaming to their clients and the phone automatically connects to the network that has a partner agreement with his/her home network operator.

If you decide to connect to a local mobile network in St/ Petersburg we recommend you to choose among the following companies:

Coverage area of these three networks includes all competition grounds.

There are also many other mobile communications centers in St.Petersburg, among these DIXIS, Teleforum, Tsifrograd etc. There are usually logos of mobile network operators on the front of the building where you can buy SIM cards.

To make a payment

There are several options to make a payment:

• In any mobile phone shop you can make a payment using a special coupon.
• In these shops you can also buy a payment card and make a payment according to the instructions.
• You can also use a payment terminal. Such terminals are situated in big stores, at metro stations etc. There is usually a Russian menu only. Such terminals normally charge a commission of 3-4%.
